Birchbox – November 2015

This month Birchbox collaborated with Skinny Dip London. I was really excited to hear about the collaboration as I adore the brand. All of the phone case I currently own are from SDL. I love the brand & how they always have new, quirky & cute phone cases on there website. I recently posted a SDL haul blogpost on my other blog. If you haven’t seen my SDL haul blogpost check it out

If you didn’t know Birchbox is a monthly beauty box subscription service, which cost £10 plus £2.95 p&p. You receive 5 samples/full size products & if you do the online reviews you earn Birchbox points. Once you earn enough Birchbox points you can then spend them in the Birchbox e-shop. You can cancel your subscription anytime you want. If your thinking about taking out a Birchbox subscription use my invite link, because then we both get £5 to spend in the Birchbox e-shop

Everyone who received the Birchbox x Skinny Dip box got a £10 off discount code to spend on the SDL website! With my voucher I bought a few more phone cases. I will be posting a haul blogpost on this blog to show you what I got. Other than the voucher I received 6 sample size products. Did you get different products in your box??? Leave me a comment & tell me what you got.

Thumbs Up – Designer Nail Wraps (sample size)

I love anything to do with nails. I was super excited to get some accent nail wraps!!! I have never heard of the brand Thumbs Up, but I’m really excited to try out the accent nail wraps. If you didn’t know what an accent nail is. It’s when you paint or decorate one or two nails. Normally people use their ring finger & thumb as their accent nail(s). As soon as I finish writing this blogpost, I’m going to use the Thumbs up ‘Rosa’ nail wraps. You can get a full size pack of nail wraps from the Thumbs Up website for £6.99

Lord & Berry – Lipliner (sample size)

I then got a mini Lord & Berry lipliner……………… Yes a lipliner???? When I first saw the liner in my Birchbox. I initially thought it was an eyeliner, but no Its a lipliner!!! Lord & Berry have come up with a fabulous idea of selling a translucent lipliner. That means you can wear it with any lipstick shade to prevent bleeding. I think this is a bloody brilliant idea!!!! I’m sure other brands will start selling a translucent lip liner soon. It means you don’t have to ever worry again about matching your lip liner to your lipstick. You can get a full size of what I think is the Ultimate lipliner from Look Fantastic for £8.50

Trilogy – Make-up Cleansing Balm (sample size)

The only make-up cleansing balm I have ever tried is the Balance Me cleansing balm. I wonder if the Trilogy cleansing balm will compare to it. I have never tried anything from the brand Trilogy, but I have always heard amazing things about the brand. The Trilogy cleansing balm is meant to remove waterproof makeup!!! I would love to test that out to see if thats correct. A full size cost £19.50 & you can buy it from the Birchbox e-shop

Living Proof – Repairing Lotion (sample size)

I love getting samples of high-end hair care. I always save them to use them as a treatment after I have my hair dyed. The repairing lotion claims to make hair up to 15x stronger without leaving it greasy or weighed down. I’m getting my hair dyed in December & can’t wait to try out the repairing lotion then. You can buy a full size bottle for £25 from the Birchbox e-shop

Delarom – Face Cream (sample size)

Delarom Creme Acquaconfort is a rejuvenating moisture cream for the face. Not only does the cream smell great it’s a product that only focuses on using natural products. The airless cream contains almond oil, apricot, jojoba butter & also includes aloe vera extract. Delarom face cream is a perfect day/night cream. A full size Delarom Creme Acquaconfort costs £34 & you can buy it from the Birchbox e-shop

Beauty Protector – Hand & Body Moisturiser (sample size)

I have received quite a few samples from Beauty Protector in the past, but I don’t think I have ever received a ‘Beauty Cream’. I really like Beauty Protector’s shampoo & conditioner & can’t wait to try out the hand & body moisturiser. I think I’m going to use the ‘Beauty Cream’ just for my hands. A full size of the hand & body moisturiser costs £8 & you can buy it from the Birchbox website

I really loved Novembers Birchbox. I thought the box design was soooooo cute!!! I’m definitely keeping the box to reuse & store make-up in.
