Birchbox – April 2015

April’s theme was ‘Royalty Good’ in celebration of the newest member of the Royal family, which still hasn’t been born. Do you think it will be a prince or a princess??? I did love the theme, box design & products in April’s Birchbox. If you didn’t already know Birchbox is one of my favourite beauty box subscriptions, which costs £10 a month plus £2.95 p&p. You get 5 samples/full size products & if you do the online reviews you earn Birchbox points. Once you have enough Birchbox points you can then spend them in the Birchbox e-shop. You can cancel your Birchbox subscription at anytime. If you want to subscribe to Birchbox use my Invite link & we both get £5 to spend in the Birchbox e-shop

April’s Birchbox was full of fabulous goodies!!! I received one full size product & five sample size products. What did you get in your Birchbox??? Leave me a comment & let me know what you thought about April’s Birchbox.

Laura Mercier – Foundation primer (Sample size)

I have wanted to try the Laura Mercier foundation primer for ages. I was over the moon that I had a generous size sample in my Birchbox. The foundation primer has a gel consistency. The primer creates a perfect base for foundation. A full size tube of Laura Mercier foundation primer costs £29, which is rather pricey!!! You can tell why its pricey, because its a fabulous foundation primer. I’m very tempted to treat myself to a tube of the Laura Mericer primer once I have run out of my current primer. You can currently buy the primer for £26.10 at John Lewis

Lola Barcelona – Nail polish (full size, £7.50)

I have not heard of the brand Lola Barcelona before, so I was pleased I got the chance to try out a new brand of nail polish. I got the shade ‘Rambia’ which is a coral colour. ‘Rambia’ is a perfect shade for the Summer. The nail polish was very easy to apply. I applied two coats of nail polish to my nails & it lasted about a week before it started to chip. You can buy Lola Barcelona nail polishes from the Birchbox e-shop & there are five colours to choose from

Percy & Reed – No oil oil (Sample size)

I have had samples of Percy & Reed’s No oil oil in beauty boxes before & I love it!!! My favourite thing about the product is that it has a heat protectant in it & also contains vitamin B5. Percy & Reed’s No oil oil adds volume to my hair & leaves it feeling silky & smooth. A full size bottle costs £14 & you can buy it from the Birchbox e-shop You can also buy Percy & Reed duo pack of No oil oil from QVC for £14 plus £2.95 p&p Check out Percy & Reed’s website for some AMAZING haircare products

Bliss – Foaming face wash (Sample size)

I love discovering new brands & products through beauty subscription boxes!!! Bliss is a new brand to me & I loved trying out the foaming face wash. The foaming face wash has tiny exfoliating particles in, which are not to harsh on sensitive skin. You can get the foaming face wash for £19.50 from the Birchbox e-shop You can also get a full size bottle of the foaming face wash for £19.50 from the Bliss website

Korres – Pear body milk (Sample Size)

I gave the Korres pear body milk to my Mum as I don’t like the smell of Pears. My Mum really enjoyed using the body milk. The body milk has natural ingredients in including almond oil, aloe & shea butter. The Pear body milk claims to soften fine lines, boasts anti-anti-imflammatory properties and supports the skins immune system. You can buy Korres Pear body milk for £10 from the Birchbox e-shop

Be fine – Warming clay mask (Sample size)

I gave this warming clay mask to my brother as the clay mask is suitable for oily blemish prone skin. The warming clay mask is meant to remove impurities & control oil. I don’t think my brother has used the warming face mask yet, so I can’t tell you what he thought of it. A tube of the warming face mask costs £17 & you can buy it from the Birchbox e-shop
