February Glossybox is always the best!!! I have been subscribed to Glossybox for more than a few years & every year there are fabulous full-size products in February’s box. The theme is Love because it’s Valentine’s day in February. My box arrived a couple of days after Valentine’s day, but I didn’t mind. Quite a lot of Glossybox subscribers did receive their box before Valentine’s day, because I saw loads of photos on Instagram.
The February box design is gorgeous & girly!!! I am definitely keeping it & reusing the box to store nail polish in. If your not a Glossybox subscriber & want to subscribe it is really simple. All you have to do is use my link http://www.glossybox.co.uk/referal?CI=MTAxMjg0. You can sign up for either a 1 month plan, 3 month plan, 6 month plan or 12 month plan. I personally think it’s better to sign up for a monthly plan because you can then do the reviews each month & earn points which you can then use to redeem a free Glossybox. Otherwise, if you’re on a 3, 6 or 12 monthly plan you can do the reviews to earn Glossydots, but you can’t use them to redeem a free Glossybox until your on a monthly plan. A monthly plan costs £10 plus £3.25 p&p. Check out the Glossybox website for more information https://www.glossybox.co.uk.
This month I received 5 full-size products & 1 sample size product. I was so pleased with everything I got in my Glossybox this month. If I would have gone out to the shops & bought everything that was in my Glossybox it would have cost loads more than the £10 plus p&p that I normally pay for my Glossybox. What made my Glossybox even better this month was that I redeemed my Glossydots & my February Glossybox was 100% FREE!!!
The first product I got in my Glossybox this month was a full-size Royal Apothic lip butter. The first thing that caught my eye was how cute the packaging was!!! I love the box design & the little trinket container that the lip butter is in.
The lip butter gives you a hint of colour on your lips & its really moisturising. Some of the ingredients in the lip butter are Grapeseed oil, Argan oil, Sweet almond oil and Shea butter. There are currently five lip butter shades to choose from & I got the colour ‘Coral’. If you go on the Royal Apothic website you can sign up for there email newsletter & you will also receive 10% off your first order http://www.royalapothic.com/collections/tinties . The lip butter costs $14 each.
I have sampled a few products from the brand So Susan in the last year. I love the packaging that So Susan use on all there products it’s so girly & chic. In my February Glossybox, I got a Rose Quartet lip & cheek cream palette. The best part about the brand So Susan is that the products are 100% cruelty-free.
The Rose Quartet palette includes four colours that you can use on your lips or cheeks. I will be using this palette as a lip palette. I’m really excited to try out the palette & see what it’s like. The rose Quartet palette costs £8.00 & you can buy it from the So Susan website http://sosusan.com/en/lips/48-rose-quartet.html & if you sign up for the So Susan newsletter you can get £5 off your next purchase.
I have never heard of the brand Marsk before. I got a full-size mineral eyeshadow in the colour ‘Fifty Shades’. ‘Fifty Shades’ is a dark grey eyeshadow which is really pigmented. A full-size Marsk mineral eyeshadow costs £14.49 and you can buy it from the Marsk website http://www.marsk.co.uk.
I also got a B mascara in my Glossybox. If you didn’t know B is a brand which is exclusive to Superdrug. I have tried the B Lengthening Defining Volumising mascara before & I really love it. The best thing about the B mascara is that it contains Lash Active which conditions your eyelashes as you wear it. You can buy the mascara for £4.99 at the moment it normally costs £9.99 http://www.superdrug.com/B-/B-All-Lengthening-Defining-Volumising-Mascara-Black-100/p/492774#.VOoFZBZGzwI.
The last product I got in my box was the Wilkinson Sword for women Hydro silk razor which alone costs £9.99!!! I think I have only once ever received a Wilkinson razor in my Glossybox. It’s not something that I would personally want to receive in a beauty box, however as it cost just under £10 I can’t really moan. When I posted my photo of what I got in Februarys Glossybox on Instagram everyone that commented on my photo was raving about how good the razor is, so the Hydro silk razor must be quite popular. You can buy the Wilkinson razor from Boots for £9.99 http://www.boots.com/en/Wilkinson-Sword-For-Women-Hydro-Silk-Razor_1288205/.
Normally you get chocolate in February’s Glossybox as a lifestyle extra. I think last year we got a little tin of Lindt chocolate which was so delicious!!!! I was slightly disappointed that there wasn’t any chocolate in my Glossybox, but I do really like Love Hearts. We got a small packet of Love Hearts which took me not even a minute to eat, because Love Hearts are yummy.
