This month Birchbox partnered with CoppaFeel, because October is breast cancer awareness month. Birchbox thought it would be the perfect time to raise awareness. So we can spot the signs & symptoms of the disease. Check out CoppaFeel’s website for more details about breast cancer http://coppafeel.org.
If you don’t know Birchbox is a monthly subscription service. You get samples & full-size products each month for £10 plus £2.95 p&p & you can cancel anytime. If you sign up & use my link we will both get £5 to spend in the Birchbox e-shop. http://birchbox.co.uk/?raf=9790
This month instead of the usual string bag everyone got a pink Birchbox zip up pouch. I love the zip up pouch. I am going to use the pouch as a make-up bag, but I have heard other girls saying they are going to use the pouch as a pencil case. If you didn’t get Birchbox this month you can get the zip up pouch free if you spend over £30 in the Birchbox e-shop & use the code BBXPINK.
Everyone got a Birchbox lipstick pen this month. I think its sooooooo cute & girly. I’m definitely going to be using this pen all the time. If you spend over £30 in the Birchbox e-shop you can get the Birchbox zip up pouch & pen for free if you use the code BBXPINK.
My favourite product in Birchbox this month was a full-size Pixi by Petra lip balm. The lip balm smells amazing & is really moisturising. The Pixi by Petra lip balms have beneficial ingredients which include vitamin E & shea butter. The lip balm didn’t have a colour name on the tube, but looking on the Pixi by Petra website I think I have the colour ‘Honey Nectar’. The lip balms cost £8 each & you can buy them on the Pixi by Petra website http://www.pixibeauty.co.uk/shea-butter-lip-balm.
I have had quite a few samples of KMS California products in beauty subscription boxes. All of the samples I have had from KMS California have been really generous in size. I would recommend the ‘Tame Frizz’ collection to anyone who has frizzy hair. The ‘Tame Frizz’ range makes my hair really silky and soft. You can buy KMS California products from the Birchbox e-shop. The ‘Tame Frizz’ creme costs £15 https://birchbox.co.uk/kms-california-tame-frizz-taming-creme.
I get way too excited when I see nail polish in my monthly beauty boxes. In this months Birchbox I got a full-size red Lollipops nail polish. Lollipops nail polish claims to be chip resistant. I can’t wait to paint my nails to find out. Lollipops nail polish costs £7 & you can get it from the Birchbox e-shop https://birchbox.co.uk/lollipops-voyage-a-paris-nail-polish.
I am excited to try out the Cattier clay mask!!! I have never used a clay mask before & I was glad that the clay mask was ok to use on sensitive skin. Cattier clay mask costs £4.25 for 100ml which I thought was a great price. You can buy the clay mask from the Birchbox e-shop https://birchbox.co.uk/cattier-pink-clay-mask-for-sensitive-skin.
The cool fix is a lotion that cools & soothes irritated skin. The cool fix costs £11 & you can buy it from the Birchbox e-shop https://birchbox.co.uk/shaveworks-the-cool-fix.
What were your thoughts on this months Birchbox??? What was your favourite product??? I would love to know what you think.
